A1: I got this problem too. I suspected that it relates to available memory is too low. After I cleared some data and have memory more than 2gb and my fb becomes work. Don't know if this is coincident or not.

A2: My galaxy did the same thing. I went under my phone's settings. Found FB under apps. Deleted cache. Forced stopped the app. Deleted all app data. Then went to home screen, started FB app. logged in. Works.

A3: Turn of power saving, turn off nearby friends & settings / app settings clear phones browsing data will fix it
